While the wild seasons archive will always contain a plant-based/alternative process photo and personal letter, the mail club will also include a rotating variety of different works. We will play with printing by exploring cyanotype, monoprint, tataki zome, and more. We’ll also throw in a recipe, a film review, foraging tips, or something unexpected. On top of that we also love to touch, so there will be some material representation of the seasonal flora, whether its a dried leaf, a set of seeds, or hand-made paper. We keep the mail coming so you don’t have to manually renew! Once your current 3-month, 6-month or 12-month period ends, our system automatically bills your saved payment method for the next period.
Absolutely. You are free to cancel at any time through your Account Page after your first payment has been successfully processed. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, please ensure you cancel before your current 3-month, 6-month or 12-month period expires.
The wild seasons archive is seasonally inspired. Each month we create new, original prints, photos and more. They are produced and shipped together in a single, monthly batch. We aim to mail by the 10th of each month from our studio in Antwerp, Belgium. Depending on your location, yours will arrive within a few days. International shipments might take a bit longer.
We do not ship individual letters immediately upon subscribing. We produce and ship all prints at the same time. We aim to ship by the 10th of each month and announce it on our instagram account when the letters go in the mail.

Orders take around a week to arrive for EU orders and 2 weeks for international orders. There is no way to track shipments since they are sent with a stamp.
If your order is outstanding for more than 2 weeks in the EU and more than one month outside of the EU from the ship date listed on the site, please email us at hi@mottainai-labs.com
To keep the cost as low a possible all Mail Club orders are sent with regular postage via Bpost and therefore do not include tracking information.
Shipping is included in the price for all orders.
This is a great idea — in fact, we created the option to order one season specifically with this in mind. Just remember to fill in the shipping information with the gifted person’s name and address, not your own.
Yes. You need to order before the 20th of the month to receive the next month’s letter. Any time after the 20th and you’ll only recieve your first letter the month following that.
To avoid confusion, look at these examples:
- Charlotte registers on 15 April. This is before the deadline of April 20. She’ll receive her first mail club package in May.
- Eric registers on 22 April. This is after the deadline of April 20. His registration is pushed back by one month. He’ll receive his first Mail Club package in June.
If you move, no problem. Just change your shipping address on your My account page>Addresses to notify us. We’ll take care of the rest so that your letters keeping coming.
If your new shipping address affects the price of your subscription we will notify you. For example: you moved to a country with a different currency.
