#0003 Seaweed
€ 14,00 incl. VAT
For volume #0003 we were inspired by our trip to the coast of Normandy.
Along the seaside, we couldn’t help but imagine the Victorian women who used to roam the shores looking for seaweed. Seaweed pressing was a popular pastime for the free-spirited ladies of that day.
Inspired by early photographer Anna Atkins, this month we created a cyanotype, a little pressed seaweed triptych, a victorian dessert recipe, a postcard with an analog photo processed with seaweed and sea salt, and hand drawn cards with tips on how to forage for your own fresh algae.
