#0002 Poppies

For volume #0002 of our monthly snail mail club we present poppies

We went full on mottainai for this month: using as many recycled materials as possible. The anthotype was printed on used teabags attached to repurposed tissue paper to mimic the translucency of poppy petals. The dream envelope was created with pages from a book we found down the street. We rediscovered an ancient Roman recipe and gave it a modern refresh. And we turned poppy seedpods into stamps. As always our photo was developed in a tea made up of the seasonal botanic.
